This weekend I shot Kristin and Marty's wedding, in good ol' Rock Hill, S.C.
Kristin and I met our last year at Winthrop while on the newspaper staff together.
What started off as a shy friendship blossomed into two buddies that were often inseparable.
We had many things in common from our dreams to our goals to even owning part-time businesses of our own...
Trust me, that doesn't happen as often as you think as a senior in college!
For her wedding I did all day coverage...Of course to get her some amazing shots, but to also be selfish and get in some much needed "Kristin and Sunny time"...I just couldn't resist! With our busy schedules and living 45 mins apart, our almost weekly trips to Sake became slim to none after graduation, so, her wedding day was also a day we got to hang out and just relax (as much as possible anyways).
It's not often I get to enjoy lunch with the bride, but Kristin treated me to Sake for old times sake. Let's just say she did turn a few heads :)
Becky, a great local photographer here in Charlotte, was my assistant for the day...what a blessing she was! It's always a relief when you know you have an extremely trustworthy and dedicated assistant. I forsee many great things with this duo :)
Now I'm off to make a glass a chocolate milk and begin the editing process. I'm diving in head first...Eek!
